About Stanford Design, LLC
Stanford Design, LLC (SD-LLC) is a small woman-owned business, providing photography, graphic design, and website design services since 2011. SD-LLC is currently based on the Treasure Coast in South Florida, previously located in Fairfax, Virginia.
I have been a professional photographer since 2004; focusing on landscapes, architecture, location shots, and flowers. My career as a designer began in college, where I received a Theater Arts degree with a specialization in design and directing. In the time since, I have worked as a photographer, marketing assistant, website designer, web-based course developer, graphic artist and designer, graphics team leader, senior proposal manager, and director of proposal development.
As the director and owner of SD-LLC, I have worked with many different clients including: government agencies, large corporate clients, small businesses, and individuals. A full list is provided below.
I have over 20 years of professional experience in:
- Photography (Digital SLR, Color Slide Photography, and Black/White Film)
- Graphic art and design (Adobe Creative Suite [Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Adobe Bridge, Acrobat Pro, and Premiere Pro])

- Document and catalog layout (over 450 proposals, 150 presentations, 25 Environmental Impact Assessments (EIS) documents, and 6 catalogs)

In my time running SD-LLC and working for other organizations I have managed complex domestic and international projects. I have created designs for: exhibits, museums, tradeshows, company marketing materials, and proposals; preparing graphics, displays, posters, flyers, fact sheets and handouts, technical documents, aligning resources and staff, developing processes, templates, and CSS style sheets to improve efficiency.
I have experience leading various types of teams from corporate executives and business owners, to graphic designers, marketing teams, proposal writers and managers/coordinators, and technical authors and support staff.
